The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The meeting will begin with the Council considering appointing and swearing in a new mayor as former mayor Dennis Kunkle resigned last month. Next, the Council will receive updates from City Administrator Laura Wolfe regarding Alliant Energy and the old fire hall, and a housing update from Nuisance Officer Wes Clark. The Council will also discuss an EMC Insurance renewal, and hold a public hearing before considering the first reading of a proposed zoning change ordinance. Finally, the Council will discuss and consider action on a culvert bid, and a developer agreement with Precision Components.

The Council meets at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
