Thursday, September 26th

10:45am: An officer responded to 401 East Russell Street (Elementary School) to assist staff with a Theft complaint involving a juvenile.

11:20am: Staff from the Greene County Community Center (204 West Harrison Street) spoke with an officer about a suspicious male walking around the facility.

11:41am: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a patient in the 100 block of West Washington Street.

12:13pm: An officer assisted the Jefferson Fire Department with a fire at 1500 North Mulberry Road (Landus). The Greene County Ambulance assisted as well.

1:52pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a patient in the 500 block of South Vine Street.

3:31pm: Staff at State Farm Insurance (200 West Central Street) reported 2 suspicious males in the 200 block of West Central Street.

3:49pm: An officer responded to 607 West State Street for a traffic accident. Kenneth Aldrich was operating it 2004 GMC Sonoma. Kenneth backed into the rear driver’s side door of a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer belonging to Brian Mobley that was unoccupied and legally parked in the 600 block of West State Street. Kenneth was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control. The Sonoma sustained $1,000 in damage to the passenger side rear bumper. The Trail Blazer sustained $3,000 in damage.

**** On September 25th, 2019, at 2022 hours, Nicole Semke reported an assault that occurred at 401 South Wilson Avenue. The report was an adult female had knocked a cell phone out of a juvenile’s hand, causing $800 in damage to an iPhone. As a result, Arrest Warrant’s have been requested for Caitlyn Day (26) of Jefferson for Assault (Simple Misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
