Teams from around the area found success at the WCAC Conference cross country meet.
Boys and girls runners from Panorama and AC/GC made their way to Panora last week. On the girls side, AC/GC’s Kate Crawford continued her stellar senior campaign finishing in first place individually. Crawford finished just ahead of Panorama’s Ella Waddle who finished in second place. AC/GC’s Rylee Sloss rounded out the top-five. In the team race, AC/GC etched a second place finish in a very competitive field. Panorama finished in fourth as a team.
On the boy’s side, AC/GC also had a strong showing. The Chargers were led by Justin Reinhart who finished in 23rd individually in 18:46. Miles Kading finished just a few steps behind Reinhart finishing in 18:51. Panorama was led by Emry Colby who finished the race in 19:28.
Both teams will return to Panora Thursday for the state qualifying meet.
