The AC/GC football team has two backs that are approaching the 1,000 yard mark.

Sophomore Gavin Cornelison will enter the final game with 988 rushing yards. The AC/GC school record for rushing yards in a season was set last year by Ben Kingery who ended the nine-game season with 1,010 yards. Senior running-back Kolby Jacobe also is inching near the four-digit milestone as he is currently sitting at 811 yards.
