Louden Foster had a wonderful performance in the class 2A state race in Panora on Thursday as he booked his return to Fort Dodge with a first place finish. Foster finished with a time of 17 minutes and 9 seconds, beating out a couple of runners down the stretch to take the district crown. Foster finished 5th in last years 1A state race in Fort Dodge, and will look to finished in a high position once again this year. West Central Valley as a team finished 12th out of 14 teams.
On the girls side, the Lady Wildcats finished 13th in the race as they wrapped up their season after improving their times as the season went along.
Foster will be competing on Saturday, November 2nd in Fort Dodge for the state race. Will see if he can generate similar results this year.
