Several Greene County High School students will be auditioning tomorrow for the Iowa High School Music Association’s All-State Festival.

Choir Director David Heupel says 14 students are trying out for the prestigious group: Hannah Yetter, Kaitlin Tjostem, Kirsten Lamoureux, Lucy Dudly, Braden Cerveny, Kiersten Purdie, Hannah Curtis, Andrea Grundon, Makenna Fox, Jacob Hanson, Clay Peters, Sadie Reedy, Natalie Payan and Avery Bardole. Hanson is a two-time all-state qualifier. 

Band Director Wes Anderson says five students are auditioning:. Brianna Blasnitz on flute, Matthew Allen with bassoon, Mitchell Stevens on french horn, Hannah Acton for euphonium and Isaac Anderson on tuba. Last year, Stevens was selected as first alternate. 

Greene County will head to Atlantic tomorrow for the auditions.
