Three runners will be representing Panorama at the State Cross Country Championships.

The Panthers hosted area teams for the state qualifying race Thursday. On the girl’s side, Ella Waddle earned second-place individually finishing in 20:11. Olivia Steffen finished in eighth with a time of  21:33. Payton Beckman was just a few steps behind finished in 21:38. The Panther trio qualified for the state championships. As a team, the Panther’s just missed the three-team cut. Head Coach Greg Thompson told Raccoon Valley Radio earlier this week their biggest hurdle was health.
