The Churdan Public Library has several activities planned for next week.
The public is invited to a special presentation at the Paton-Churdan School auditorium on Monday at 9am. It will be an interactive show called “Big Bang Bubbles,” which is sponsored by the Greene County Libraries Association and the Greene County Board of Supervisors.
Then on Tuesday will be a Halloween Party from 3:30-4:30pm for all children, followed by trick-or-treating at 9:30am on Wednesday for pre-schoolers. Library staff asks the community members, from the library to the United Bank of Iowa, to hand out goodies to the youngsters at that time. However, if there is inclement weather, the event will be held at the library. Finally, on Halloween, library staff will be at the P-C National Honor Society trunk-or-treat from 5-6pm. Tuesday-Thursday’s events are sponsored by the Communities 4 Children and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children.
