It’s hard to believe, but the winter high school sports season is nearly upon us.  After a whirlwind of a fall, and a highly impressive and successful first season as AD of Dallas Center-Grimes, Brent Buttjer, will head into the coldest months of the year leading the Mustangs and Fillies athletics programs.

Being one of the largest 3A schools in the state has its perks and advantages with the ability to offer its schools more opportunities and more diverse programs in athletics.

This winter DC-G will compete on a Varsity level in basketball, wrestling, bowling, and swimming and diving in the Boys’ division.  For the Girls’, athletes will represent Dallas Center-Grimes in basketball, bowling, and swimming and diving.

Practices for all winter sports begin this month.
