The Adel-Desoto-Minburn winter sports teams will have a little time off over the Thanksgiving break to recharge and rest after a few weeks of preseason practices on the board. All three of the teams have been preparing for the season with the ADM Girls already playing two games, and off to a great start after two wins this past week against Norwalk and Van Meter.

The boys basketball team and the wrestling team will both start their matches next week, and both are expected to field very competitive teams this year and be contenders in the Raccoon River Conference.

Of course, with the time off, both teams can expect to be doing some conditioning once they get back, but the time off should be well worth it for all athletes at the ADM Schools.
