A pair of impressive performaces were demonstrated by the Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams on Friday evening in Grimes, as the Mustangs and Fillies dominated the Oskaloosa Indians.

The DC-G Girls’ easily took down Osky, 68-20.  Adam Jones and his squad responded well after their first loss of the year last Saturday at Des Moines Christian.  A blazing start for the Fillies set the tone for the ball game, as DC-G lead 43-7 at the halftime intermission.

For the DC-G Boys’, a stunning victory over Oskaloosa on Friday.  The Mustangs took down the Indians 78-58.  A dominating performance for Joel Rankin’s club, as DC-G improves their record to an unbeaten 4-0.  Luke Rankin had a huge night for DC-G, as the Junior put up 28 points on 12-16 from the field.  Rankin also dished out nine dimes, and snagged five steals for the Mustangs.  DC-G had two more in double figures on Friday.  Cole Glasgow added 15 points, and Cody Hall with 11.

DC-G will be back in action with another Girl/Boy Doubleheader on Tuesday at Ballard.
