It’s been a solid start to the 2019-2020 season for the Girls’ and Boys’ basketball teams of Dallas Center-Grimes High School.  The Fillies are 5-1, and the Mustangs are 4-0 through the first few weeks of the year.

DC-G will face a tough test tonight on the road, as the Mustangs and Fillies head to Huxley to face Ballard.  The Ballard Boys’ are 2-2 on the season, while the Lady Bombers are 4-1, and winners of four in a row.

DC-G’s players to watch include Jordan Cunningham for the Girls’.  Cunningham is averaging over 18 points per game.  For the Boys’, keep an eye on Luke Rankin.  The Junior recorded 28 points on Friday against Oskaloosa.  Rankin also cashed in on nine dimes, and five steals.

DC-G on the road at Ballard tonight in a Girl/Boy Doubleheader.  The Girls’ take the floor first, around 6:00pm, with the Boys’ to follow.
