Don’t forget, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States will be in central Dallas County this morning.

U.S. Senator from New Jersey Cory Booker will be at the Adel Family Fun Center, with doors opening at 9 a.m. and the event starting at 9:30. Booker is kicking off his statewide “Lead With Love” bus tour with the free rally, and the public is encouraged to attend. The event will include appearances by special guests, local elected officials, and community activists, and is being hosted by the Dallas County Democratic Party.

Booker is one of 15 Democratic candidates hoping to the win the nomination for President in the June primary election, and one of three visiting Dallas County this weekend. South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttegieg and former Vice President Joe Biden will both be in Perry Sunday. This is the Senator’s second visit to Dallas County and first public event ahead of the Iowa Caucuses in February.
