Through the first few weeks of the wrestling season, AC/GC has leaned heavily on two familiar names.

Gunnar Larsen is currently ranked 8th individually in the 132 pound weight class by IAWrestle.com. The junior is currently 13-2 on the season. Since the latest list of rankings came out December 17th, Larsen is 4-0, including two wins en route to a first place finish last weekend at the WCAC tournament.

AC/GC has also seen a great start from 2018 state qualifier Seth Danker who is currently sitting with a 14-2 record. Danker earned first place in the Coach Riley Invitational earlier this month.

The Chargers will rest for a few weeks then hit the mats January 7th to square off against East Union and Van Meter.
