The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors accepted Leora Laughery’s resignation to the Guthrie County Regional Airport Authority Board Tuesday.
Laughery was appointed by the Board in November, but then learned the Airport Authority Board’s language stipulates that members can’t be full-time County employees, which Laughery is. The Supervisors directed to ask previous applicant Beverly Wild if she’d like to be appointed. The Board then approved the 2019 county weed commissioner’s report, and approved an application resolution to the Farm-to-Market Review Board for a road located near Adair County. They also approved amendments extending timelines for three secondary roads projects with the Hungry Canyons Alliance, and approved payroll change notices for a public health employee and two Sheriff’s Office employees.
