
A Des Moines man was recently sentenced to prison after having his probation revoked in Guthrie County.
Court documents show 26-year-old Paul Zachary Palmer was found guilty of violating the terms of his probation for an original conviction of willful injury resulting in bodily injury, a class D felony, from a March 2016 incident. Palmer is ordered to serve up to five years in prison, which shall be served concurrently to two Polk County sentences. He was originally given three years probation in February of 2017 for an incident in which Palmer had struck someone in the head with a baseball bat in Bagley.
