The West Central Valley Wildcats played in a double header against the Van Meter Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs, and were unable to come away with any victories, with the girls falling 47-28 and the boys falling by the score of 57-10. The girls hung tough throughout the entire game, but just couldn’t find the offense that they were looking for to come away with the victory. They only had 2 points in the first quarter and 10 the entire first half. The loss pushes them back to 5-5 on the season.
The boys just couldn’t put the ball in the bucket all night long, as they mustered up their second fewest points on the season against a stingy defense in Van Meter.
Both teams are continuing to trek through the season. The next doubleheader for the two teams will be on Friday when they take on Panorama at home in Stuart.
