Justin Garcia of the West Central Valley Wildcats has continued to put on a good showing as he continues to prepare for another run to state, and did well against good competition Saturday finishing 3rd in the Rich Gray Invite. There were 17 teams that competed in the event, so competition was fierce and placing was proving to be difficult.

Along with that finish at the 126 pound level, Weston Pote finished 4th at the 138 pound mark, and Braiden Beane was the other wrestler to place getting 6th at the 145 pound mark.

The Wildcats had seven wrestlers participate in the event at the varsity level, and all put up good fights against extremely good competition. The next meet for the Wildcats will be on Tuesday when they participate in another dual meet as they close out the January portion of their schedule.
