Jazzatonics performing at Perry High School for State Jazz Choir Festival

The Greene County High School Music Department invites everyone to their annual Pops Concert tomorrow night.

The concert includes performances from the concert band and choir, along with the jazz choir. The Jazzatonics performed at the Iowa High School Music Association Jazz Choir Festival at Perry High School Monday night. The group received a Division I-rating. The Jazzatonics will perform their contest pieces, including “Garby the Great,” arranged by Jeremy Fox, “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” arranged by Kerry Marsh, and “Besame Mucho” arranged by Paris Rutherford. The concert band and choir will perform music from their theme of “Hoedown.”

The concert will take place at 7:30pm in the high school auditorium in Jefferson. It is free and open to the public.
