With Valentine’s Day coming up tomorrow, the Jefferson Area Chamber reminds residents to spend their money locally.
Chamber board member Pete Bardole says small towns have advantages when it comes to places to shop and eat during a holiday like Valentine’s Day.
“Greene County has a lot of good restaurants to go out and eat, (and) things to do. Support your local restaurants, we’ve got some very good ones in the County. You can make it real special with some very unique gifts that the shops around the (downtown) square have to offer for you.”
Bardole reminds everyone that when you shop and eat in Greene County, it helps to improve the local economy.
