12:45am: Dalton Exline reported that someone was trying enter his residence at 500 North Cedar Street.

7:26am: An officer responded to 1512 Westwood Drive for a fire alarm. Everything was found to be okay.

10:00am: Alysha Dehoet spoke with an officer about a civil issue.

11:04am: Greene County Sherriff Jack Williams advised officers of apparent stolen property he found in the ditch near 1557 290th Street in Greene County. The items consisted of paperwork, metal ammunition boxes, ammunition and other random office material. It was determined the items belonged to the Jefferson VFW (115 North Chestnut Street). Officers arrived at the VFW to find damage to the rear door of the building. It also appeared the building had been rummaged through. An officer is working with the VFW to determine what was exactly stolen from the building.

1:58pm: An officer responded to the intersection of South Locust Street and East Madison Street for a two-vehicle accident. Gladys Taylor of Jefferson was driving her 2010 Chevy Equinox northbound on South Locust Street. Gladys struck a 2013 Gray Mazda being operated by Sean Sebourn as he was traveling eastbound on East Madison Street. The Mazda sustained $3,500 in damages and the Equinox sustained $5,000 in damages. Sebourn was issued a citation for Fail to Yield to Vehicle on Right.

2:41pm: An officer responded to Sparkys (606 Highway 30 East) for a family dispute.

6:35pm: An officer assisted a female at Sparkys (606 Highway 30 East) with a civil issue.

9:24pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 1000 block of West Adams Street.

11:24pm: An officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 100 block of East Lincoln Way by jump-starting the vehicle.

***** As a result of an investigation that began on 02.12.2020, (2) Arrest Warrants have been requested for Ryan Patterson (39) of Jefferson for Trespass – 1st Degree and Violation of a No Contact Order – Simple Misdemeanor. This stemmed from a report of Ryan trespassing at 402 West Head Street where a female resided who he had a No Contact Order with.
