Monday is Presidents Day, and several public entities around Dallas County will be closed in observance of the holiday.

In Perry, all City offices, the water works, the McCreary Community Building, and the public library will be closed. The regular Perry City Council meeting that would normally be held Monday will instead be Tuesday evening. Additionally, those who have garbage pickup on Monday will be served Tuesday, and Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Wednesday. In Adel, all City offices and the public library will be closed for Presidents Day, though there is no change to garbage and recycling routes.

Finally, all Dallas County offices will be closed Monday, including all services at the courthouse. However, state offices will remain open, including the Department of Transportation driver’s license station in Waukee. The post offices and banking institutions throughout the County will also be closed for the holiday.
