Seniors at Perry High School and their families are invited to a night of fun and education this Tuesday, sponsored by the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) service.

Senior Fun Night will be held February 25th from 4-8 p.m. at Hotel Pattee. During the event, graduating seniors can get assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms, as well as information on additional financial aid and graduation. They’ll also have an opportunity to complete the GEAR UP survey to give feedback on the program. However, organizers point out the event won’t be all work and no play, as they will provide light refreshments, board games, and music for attendees. There will also be raffle drawings towards the end of the night, with prizes donated by local businesses.

There is no cost to attend Senior Fun Night, and attendees can come and go as they wish during the four-hour timeframe. GEAR UP Iowa works with schools to engage students and help them build a path to success through a college education.
