Anyone who would like to learn more about Iowa’s hunting seasons and rules can attend a public meeting later this month in Jefferson.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources representatives will host a town hall-style meeting at the Milwaukee Depot at 7pm on Thursday, February 27th. Attendees will hear about the recently completed hunting season, as well as discuss potential changes to the state’s hunting rules and regulations. DNR officials encourage any feedback from the public during the open town hall meetings before proposing changes to the hunting rules. 

The meeting is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is necessary.
