2:29am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of Hwy. 30 East.
10:37am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of East Head Street.
1:57pm: Sean Sebourn requested officers check his residence at 205 East Madison Street, after he witnessed a suspicious male in the area through his “Ring Doorbell.” Officers did not locate anyone in the area.
5:10pm: Kathy Pittman reported a Backing Accident in the 600 Block of South Olive Street. Pittman’s 2019 Ford Edge was legally parked in the 600 Block of South Olive Street. Elsie Jablonski was backing from a private drive in her 2014 Chevrolet Traverse and backed into the Pittman vehicle. Pittman’s vehicle had a reported $800.00 in damages, while Jablonski’s vehicle suffered a reported $200.00 in damages.
5:15pm: Mary Luther requested a Welfare Check on her juvenile granddaughter at 504 South Oak Street. The officer contacted the child and her father. All was fine and no assistance was needed from the officer.
6:32pm: Sean Gifford reported the strong odor of natural gas near Garfield and Olive Streets. The officers arrived and located a leak on a gas meter in the area. The officers stood by in the area with Jefferson Fire until the utility company arrived in the area.
******** An officer has requested an Arrest Warrants for Alexander Ruben Basurto, 27 of Jefferson and Juan Angel Guzman, 32 of Jefferson for, “3rd Degree Harassment – Serious.” The charges stem from an investigation that began on 02/19/2020, where Basurto and Guzman were chasing a Jefferson resident in their vehicle near the Greene County Middle School.
