
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will start with the presentation of certificates of appreciation, where six County employees will be honored for their years of service. Following that, the Board will consider a contract with C.L. Carroll Company of Des Moines for the Ortonville Lagoon demolition project. Next, they will consider three items for the Secondary Roads Department, starting with permits for dust control vendors. The other two items are purchase requests, one for a day cab truck and the other for a belly dump trailer.
Other items on the agenda include: a business protocol agreement with Lifequest on behalf of the Emergency Medical Services Department; the canvass of the Earlham School District special election; a contract for the restoration of Board minute books; and a 28E agreement with Central Iowa Workforce Development, Region 11. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
