The Iowa Department of Public Health is encouraging businesses and organizations’ help to assist in the novel coronavirus 2019 response.

Those with extra personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gowns, eye protection, and masks, are asked to donate these to their local health providers. To donate any equipment the public is asked to first contact their county public health department and emergency management agency. Guthrie County’s drop-off location is the health services building in Guthrie Center, but the public must call ahead as the doors are locked. Adair County’s drop-off location is Greenfield Lumber during regular business hours. For more information on how to donate and learn about Adair and Guthrie counties’ response to COVID-19, visit here.
