A reminder for those looking to run for the available Greene County elected offices, the deadline to submit nominations is fast approaching.

Greene County Auditor Jane Heun says nomination papers for candidates running for County Sheriff, Auditor and three Supervisor seats must be submitted by 5pm Wednesday. With the recent spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus, Heun adds the Secretary of State does not have the authority to alter or change filing deadlines.

Heun notes those who want to run but haven’t picked up nomination papers yet can call her office during normal business hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, and they can provide the paperwork. A copy of the nomination form can also be found below.
