The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene twice Tuesday, first for a regular session and then for a public hearing to present their fiscal year 2021 budget. However, the public won’t be able to attend either meeting in person.
With concerns over the novel coronavirus 2019 pandemic, the Board will conduct the meetings electronically, with the public able to access them by phone. The morning session will begin at 9 a.m. with consideration of payroll change notices, as well as a resolution for temporary employee policy amendments. Next, they will have consideration of a family farm tax credit, and the meeting will wrap up with committee work reports.
The evening session will start at 7 p.m., and County staff will present the FY21 budget for approval. The Supervisors will also consider a resolution approving the Compensation Board’s recommendation for elected officials salaries. To gain public access to the meeting, call 1-877-820-7831 during the meeting times and enter the participant pass code 7526815.
