The road to the state golf tournament for athletes from eight schools will start in Panora.

Last week the IHSAA announced the sites for sectional and district golf tournaments. Lake Panorama in Panora will be the host-site for sectionals. Teeing off at 10 a.m. Friday, May 15th eight teams will be coming together as one field of athletes to count on. Panorama will be leaning on their star golfer in Kolby Shackelford who is looking to repeat as state champion. Teams and individuals who place high enough at sectionals will advance to the district meet at Carroll Country Club on Friday, May 22nd and will be hosted by Kuemper Catholic.
