A Scranton man faces a felony for an alleged domestic abuse incident.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to the call of a domestic situation from the female victim at 11:12am Wednesday in the 800 block of 8th Street in Scranton. Sheriff Jack Williams says the victim told the deputy the incident started as an argument with 48-year-old George Glasgow, but then it became physical. The deputy gathered evidence that fit the description of domestic assault.
Glasgow was then arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for domestic assault. He was booked and released from the Greene County Jail under his own recognizance. A no contact order is in place between the victim and Glasgow. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
