As Iowa schools are closed through April 30th, the Panorama School District has scheduled backup dates and made some changes for end of year events.

The District recently announced that senior night and graduation remain as scheduled at this point for May 13th and 17th respectively. If guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention halt them from holding the May dates, the District has set postponement dates over the next few months. Those dates are June 17th and 21st, July 15th and 19th, and August 12th and 16th. High School Principal Thad Stanley says prom has been postponed from April 25th to June 27th. Some organizational changes have also been made for the event, such as:

– Anyone who will want individual pictures taken by Mike Ketelsen will need to be in the auditorium from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

-The Grand March will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

-Group class pictures will be taken immediately following Grand March on stage, so don’t leave the auditorium.

-Guests will then eat on their own.

-The dance will take place from 9:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m. in the Middle School Gym. They will use a DJ from BC Productions.

As a reminder – once a student leaves the dance, they will NOT be allowed to reenter the building. Also, please pay attention to school emails for more information to come.
