2:55am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on the railroad tracks near 6th Street, Grand Junction.

8:24am: The Sheriff, a deputy, and the Iowa State Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident on D Avenue near 300th Street. The Iowa State Patrol investigated the accident.

2:49pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on Hager Street, Grand Junction.

4:26pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 1000 block of Eagle Street in Scranton. Sandra Burris 73 of Scranton was arrested for assault simple.

5:30pm: A deputy arrested James Cunningham 45 of Jefferson on an active arrest warrant for unauthorized use of a credit card over 1,500 dollars.

5:50pm: Sandra Burris 73 of Scranton was booked into the jail for assault simple.

7:04pm: James Cunningham 45 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for unauthorized use of a credit card over 1,500 dollars.

Saturday, April 25th

8:04am: A deputy, a Iowa State Trooper, Greene County Ambulance, and Jefferson Fire Department responded to a two vehicle head on collision in the 1200 block of 180th Street. Roger Custer 72 of Jefferson was traveling east on 180 th in a 1991 Chevrolet K2500 pulling a trailer with a tractor on it. Roger met Thomas Custer 66 of Jefferson who was driving a 2011 Chevrolet K1500 and was traveling west on 180th Street. Both vehicles hit head on in the fog totaling both vehicles. Both drivers were taken to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance with minor injuries. The 2011 truck did deploy airbags.

8:57am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of south 11th Street, Grand Junction.

5:57pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an intoxicated subject in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Way.

6:38pm: A deputy assisted with locating a lost child in the 800 block of North Street, Churdan.

7:35pm: A deputy and Churdan Fire responded to a hay fire in the 200 block of Kirkwood Avenue.

10:46pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

11:38pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of 230th Street.

Sunday, April 26th

12:39am: A deputy checked an open door in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

1:21pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 500 block of State Street, Scranton.

3:19pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large at Livingston and Jay Street, Churdan.

6:55pm: A deputy investigated a burning complaint in the 800 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

7:10pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.

8:19pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on S Avenue near 230 th Street.

8:25pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on Quaker Avenue near 283rd Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
