A Creston man faces a felony charge after allegedly stealing a car in Guthrie County.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Noah James Wardlow was court ordered to a group home in Guthrie Center on April 23rd for multiple ongoing felony cases in Adams County. The victim who works at the group home was preparing to take the residents shopping Monday afternoon when she was distracted as she was dividing out their money. She then heard her car horn and went running to check it out. She told authorities that she saw Wardlow steal her Ford Escape and that he took her keys from the office desk.

Wardlow was arrested by the Creston Police Department and transported to the Guthrie County Jail. He is charged with first degree theft, a class C felony. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
