Landus Cooperative is hosting an event from yester-year while practicing social distancing against COVID-19.
The farmer-owned cooperative in Jefferson is sponsoring a free drive-in movie featuring “Frozen 2” on the side of their grain bin Saturday at sundown. There are some restrictions that people will need to follow.
Attendees must stay in their vehicles, lawn chairs or blankets will be allowed in the back of a vehicle, as long as you don’t get out of your vehicle, and chairs and blankets will not be allowed on the ground. Additionally, you can bring your own snacks and beverages as no concessions will be offered and there will be no restrooms available. The movie will begin at sundown (about 8:30pm) and cars will start to be parked at 8. Landus Cooperative is also accepting monetary free-will donations for the local food pantry, and those will be collected in a no-contact way.
