
The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 279 new cases of COVID-19 in the state as of Saturday, with 16 of them coming from Dallas County.
The new positive tests bring the statewide total to 14,328 since the pandemic began, and 773 in Dallas. Among those who have tested positive, 6,927 in Iowa have recovered, including 360 in Dallas County. There were no new cases reported in the rest of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, with Guthrie currently at 37 cases with 16 recovered, Greene at 13 cases with nine recovered, and Adair at four cases with two recovered. In other positive news, there were no new coronavirus-related deaths in the listening area, with Dallas currently at 10 and Guthrie at three. However, statewide there were 10 new casualties, bringing the total in Iowa to 346.
