The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Class of 2020 is preparing for the end of their K-12 schooling, and this Tuesday may offer the first chance of closure in the midst of this abnormal school year.
May 26th is the scheduled day for graduating seniors to drop off their District-issued devices and other materials. Students are asked to drop off computers, college textbooks, calculators, and other books they may still have from classes. The designated time is from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the front entrance of ADM High School. The students will need to pull into the circle drive, stop near the entrance, and put the items into marked bins. Also during that time, the administration will be handing out Rotary Awards and other certificates announced during a virtual presentation Sunday.
The next step for seniors is the commencement ceremony, which is tentatively scheduled for June 28th. Principal Lee Griebel adds, the administration is still ironing out a time for underclassmen to drop off school-owned books.
