A reminder that as we observe Memorial Day, there are several offices and businesses that are closed in Jefferson.

The Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Extension office, Jefferson Post Office, Jefferson Area Chamber office and the Greene County Community Center are closed for the holiday. The Greene County Courthouse and Jefferson Public Library have been closed due to COVID-19 and will remain closed through Memorial Day.  

Jefferson residents are reminded that due to the holiday, garbage pickup will be delayed by one day. Routes will then return to normal the following week.
