With the relaxed COVID-19 restrictions coming from the governor’s public health emergency proclamation, here are the public entities that are open and those that are still closed in Greene County.
Jefferson City Hall and the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson are open during regular business hours, with certain limitations in place. Starting Monday, all of the playgrounds at the Jefferson city parks will be open, along with the restrooms and shelter houses, without any restrictions. The Greene County Courthouse will open to the public again starting June 3rd, with appointments only for the driver’s license, veterans affairs and mental health services.
The Jefferson Public Library remains closed at this time, along with the Greene County Historical Museum until further notice. Finally, Greene County Conservation Director Dan Towers confirms that everything except for the shelters and the skating rink are now open at Spring Lake Park.
