A Bagley woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Monday.
The criminal complaint shows that at about 4:15 p.m. a Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to a residence in the 600 block of Main Street in Bagley for a stabbing. The victim was found lying by his neighbor’s garage and had apparent stab wounds to his stomach, left arm, and cuts on his face. The victim told the Deputy that he was sitting in his living room when 29-year-old Ronelle Renae Christopher began stabbing him. He said Christopher followed him out of the house but then retreated inside. The victim was transported by Panora Emergency Medical Services and then life flighted to a Des Moines hospital for serious injuries.
Law enforcement made entry into the home and took Christopher into custody without incident. She stated that the victim had assaulted her with a knife when she stabbed him, and she had a small laceration on her right palm. Christopher admitted to consuming five beers prior to the stabbing. She is charged with willful injury causing serious injury, a class C felony, and domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury first offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. She’s being held at the Boone County Jail on a $12,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
