Three more coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Dallas County as of Tuesday, bringing the countywide total to 24 casualties since the start of the pandemic.

The three local deaths were among 20 reported statewide Tuesday by the Iowa Department of Public Health, with the death toll rising to 560 in Iowa. On top of that, there were 12 new positive cases in Dallas County for a total of 921, though 600 of those individuals have since recovered. There were also two new cases in Guthrie County for a total of 53, with 30 patients recovered. No new cases were reported in Greene or Adair counties, with the totals holding at 14 positive tests and 14 recoveries in Greene, and nine cases and five recoveries in Adair. Across Iowa, the IDPH reported 266 new occurrences for a total of 19,956 since the virus arrived. A total of 143,578 negative tests have been reported, and 11,604 have recovered.
