An annual event will happen later this month in Jefferson, but in a slightly different way.

Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting the annual golf outing at the Jefferson Community Golf Course on Friday, June 26th. Registrations will be at 9am and the four person best shot tournament will begin at 9:30. Chamber Board Secretary Jill Morton says they will adhere to the social distancing recommendations and if a team wants separate golf carts, they can do that as well. She encourages anyone to join in the event.

“We just want to provide an event for people to participate in if they would like, and be able to get out and do some socializing and have some fun.”

The cost to participate is $250 per team, which includes a sack lunch and cart rentals. Click the link below to register. To hear more from Morton, listen to today’s Community State Bank in Paton Let’s Talk Greene County program.
