The Jefferson Public Library will be re-opening its doors to the public next month.

Library Director Jane Millard says the library will open for limited hours, starting Monday, July 6th. The library closed its doors to the public in mid-March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Millard points out services they will continue to offer, especially for those who will not feel comfortable coming back into the library.

“We will also continue doing curbside pick-up and home delivery when we re-open to the public.”

The library is currently open for curbside pickup for those who have a library card. As the kids and teen summer reading programs kick-off, Millard reminds participants that they will receive new packets of activities all the time and those can be picked up from the library. More information regarding the library re-opening will be released in the coming weeks. Call the library at 515-386-2835 for more information.
