1:50am: Courtney Kern 34 of Jamaica was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
6:25am: The Sheriff and a deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a domestic and an arrest in the 200 block of East Russell Street. Justin Cosnotti 35 of Jefferson was arrested for Willful injury- causing bodily injury, Domestic abuse assault 3rd offense, harassment 1st degree, False imprisonment, possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, and possession of methamphetamine.
10:25am: Justin Cosnotti 35 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for Willful injury- causing bodily injury, Domestic abuse assault 3rd offense, harassment 1st degree, False imprisonment, possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, and possession of methamphetamine.
12:15pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search warrant in the 200 block of East Russell Street, Jefferson.
1:34pm: A deputy and Scranton Fire responded to a ditch fire on E Avenue just north of the overpass.
3:35pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.
3:45pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 2200 block of A Avenue.
6:47pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 600 block of West Main Street, Grand Junction.
7:50pm: Brianne Wolfe 29 of Lohrville was booked into the jail for a probation violation.
8:40pm: Kayla Elsberry 22 of Boone was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense and criminal mischief 5th degree.
9:16pm: A deputy and Grand Junction fire responded to a fire just north of the ethanol plant. The fire was a controlled burn.
11:00pm: A deputy assisted a jailer with an unruly inmate.
Saturday, July 4th
12:01am: Brendan James 20 of Bouton was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
1:53pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a dirt bike in the 400 block of Madison Street, Scranton.
2:00pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 100 block of 250th Street.
3:42pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 300 block of Main Street, Rippey.
5:57pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 400 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.
9:09pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 100 block of South Park Street, Paton.
9:20pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on W Avenue near 250th Street.
9:20pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 1200 block of Neola Avenue.
11:09pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint on Lincoln Street, Scrnaton.

2:00am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue.
5:43am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of Cartwright Street, Rippey.
3:44pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 300 block of Main Street, Rippey.
4:04pm: A deputy assisted with a civil issue in the 1900 block of T Avenue.
5:46pm: A deputy assisted with unwanted children in a house in the 600 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.
8:53pm: A deputy arrested William Griffin 45 of Rippey on an arrest warrant for criminal mischief 1st degree.
9:20pm: William Griffin 45 of Rippey was booked into the jail for criminal mischief 1st degree.
10:23pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near B Avenue. Bonnie Orfield 48 of Jefferson struck a deer with her 2016 Chevrolet Trax causing an estimated 2,500 dollars damage.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
