Now that summer is here and several COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in Iowa, the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department has lots of activities coming up.

The Adult Co-Ed Softball League will start July 14th on Tuesdays and Thursdays tentatively at 6pm. There must be a minimum of eight players per team and a minimum of four teams to have a league. Team registration is $200 and you must sign up by tomorrow.

Play at the Park is for kindergarten-3rd graders to be held on Fridays from July 10-31 from 9-10am at Russell Park. Kids need to be dropped off and picked up at the Greene County Community Center. Cost to participate is $15 for rec center members and $20 for non-members.

Finally, Dance Camp is for 7-10 year-olds on July 14th and 15th at the rec center. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals. Seven and eight year-olds will be from 10am-noon, and nine and ten year-olds from 1-3pm. Cost to participate is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
