Greene County ends the high school baseball and softball regular seasons tomorrow in Nevada. Then, it’s onto the postseason.

Coach Tom Kennedy’s softball Rams enter the week with a 3-10 record and will open Class 3A regional play in Carroll vs. Kuemper Catholic at 7 p.m. on Wed., July 15. We’ll have the game on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The Knights also have a losing record on the season and the Greene County/Kuemper Catholic winner meets either number two ranked Humboldt or Southeast Valley (Gowrie) in Humboldt on Friday, July 17 in Humboldt at 7 p.m.

Greene County baseball is headed by first year head coach Matt Paulsen. The Rams are 2-11 and face second ranked Class 3A Dallas Center-Grimes at Dallas Center on July 17 in game two of a twin bill. Atlantic meets Carroll in game one at 5 p.m. followed by the Rams and Mustangs. Friday’s two winners meet in Dallas Center on Monday, July 20 at 7 p.m.
