The Dallas Center-Grimes Baseball team traveled to Slater last night to face the Ballard Bombers, and tomorrow night, DC-G will wrap up its regular season schedule with a road match-up at Carlisle.

DC-G owns an impressive 14-2 record through the regular season, and a #2 ranking in Class 3A heading into this weekend’s District postseason play.

Byron Peyton’s club has been great on the mound, and across the board defensively this season, which he attributes to the his team’s success this season.

DC-G is not a power hitting team, and if the Mustangs want to compete at a high level, and advance to Principal Park, Peyton knows that his team’s dominance on the mound must continue.

The final regular season tune-up for DC-G is scheduled for a 6:00pm first pitch in Carlisle on Wednesday.
