The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team unfortunately couldn’t come away with the win on Monday night against Pleasantville, losing by the score of 17-0 and effectively ending their 2020 season. The Wildcats were unfortunately unable to record a win on the year, but were competitive in a few of their games. They fielded one of the youngest teams in the state of Iowa, regularly playing underclassmen and picking up key in game experience as the year went along.

The Wildcats were managed by first year manager John Wheeler, who did a good job of breaking down the game and helping the Wildcats hone in on the basics and try to get better as the regular season went along. West Central Valley will only be losing one senior off of this years roster, so this team will be expected to be improved come next season. The Wildcats will be focused on getting better in the off-season and staying positive as well.
