Baseball and softball teams from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area punched their ticket to the state tournament earlier this week.

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn baseball team will be heading to Principal Park for the second consecutive year with their substate championship Wednesday night. Their first game will be July 28th in Des Moines. You’ll be able to listen to the Tiger’s postseason journey on the home of ADM athletics K107.9 FM.

Both the baseball and softball teams for Dallas Center-Grimes qualified for the big dance as well. The Fillies won their regional championship game Tuesday night and the Mustangs punched their ticket last night. The baseball team will begin their quest for a Class 3A crown on July 28th. The DCG softball team will be taking on the third-seed Fairfield in their quarter-final matchup Monday afternoon. You’ll be able to follow both DCG teams 99.7 FM and 1310 AM KDLS.
