Jefferson Hy-Vee is giving away free apples today.

Starting at 1pm, Hy-Vee staff will be giving away 3,800 apples on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested individuals are to line up west next to the Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh area and pull into the south parking lot. Hy-Vee staff will give a bag of ten apples to the first 380 customers. There is a limit of one bag per vehicle and no walk-ups will be allowed. The event will be contactless and customers do not need to get out of their vehicles.

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will also be on-hand broadcasting live during the event from 12:30-2:30pm.
